Please report to Bede Building, Bede Campus via main reception at 9am.

Bede Campus (SR3 4AH) is serviced by a number of bus services with a bus stop directly outside of campus. It is a 5-10 minute bus or taxi ride from Sunderland city centre. Free parking is available on-site (at Goals) and there are shelters to safely store bikes.

You will be given an introduction to your A-Level subjects, meet your teachers, receiving an overview of the courses and meet your classmates.

There will be an opportunity to speak with Sunderland Sixth Form staff if you have any queries, concerns or would like to make any changes to your subjects and timetable.

Always remember that first-day nerves are absolutely normal and are to be expected! There will be so many other students in exactly the same situation. Your teachers and tutors are so friendly, approachable and supportive, and you will quickly make friends classes and feel right at home in no time!

You will need stationery such as pens, highlighters and a lined notebook, as well as a lever-arch file.

Yes, students will need to purchase their own stationary before the start of term.

Students should check their eligibility to receive financial support via the 16-18 Bursary at enrolment.
