A problem shared, is a problem halved so talking to a friend, family or a member of college/school staff such as your course or tutorial tutor/teacher to let them know how you're feeling could instantly reassure you that you’re on the right path or help you to understand what options may be available otherwise.
Take some time for yourself to process how things are going and work out if you’re making the best decisions for you in the right frame of mind.
Knowing what options are available to you at the college, based on the specific course you’re currently studying is important to consider before making any big decisions. Our friendly Information, Advice and Guidance Team (IAG) are on hand to support, just send them an email to: guidance@educationpartnershipne.ac.uk
Sometimes it can help to think and write down what you like and don’t like to help you to see whether the course you are on is or isn’t right for you and why that may be. Thinking and writing these thoughts down could also help you to see that your course may actually be ideal but that there's something else you might need some support with to make your experience on the course even greater.
Reach out for help and support. There is always a solution and we will do everything we can to help you find the best solution for you so that you can continue to study on a course you'll love. Send an email to guidance@educationpartnershipne.ac.uk
If finances are worrying you and part of your thought process in deciding the course you’re on isn’t right for you, or you need support financially with travel costs, lunches, purchase of equipment relevant to your course, or something else, just drop an email to welfare@educationpartnershipne.ac.uk who can help you further.
