As part of Sunderland BID’s Lights out, Halloween in Sunderland activities, ‘Twisty’ the monster has taken up residence at City Campus, so any spooky searchers visiting the centre can stop by the college whilst taking part in a monster trail.
The scary city centre visitors are part of the ‘Mackem Monster Hunt’ taking place from Friday 23 October until Sunday 1 November. If you’re a horror hunter, you can take to the streets and find your favourite creatures hidden on landmark buildings across Sunderland city centre.
The trail will also include augmented reality monsters, so anyone who downloads the free app can go monster chasing across the city. Along with the seven virtual creatures that can be found, visitors to the city centre will also be able to use the app to collect images of six monster inflatables, including Twisty!
The monster trail can be downloaded via a bespoke app on to any smartphone, which will guide you to the various locations across Sunderland city centre. You can click here to find out more.
