Tyler described his time at Sunderland College as practical, fun and creative.
Tyler, who works on the local radio station, Spark Sunderland, won the Young Audio Rising Talent Award which was presented to him in London.
He said: “I’ve loved my time at Sunderland College and the opportunities given to me through studying here. As part of my course I’ve gained so much experience. We’ve been given lots of extra-curricular opportunities, such as going to London Fashion Week, which is exactly why I chose the course, as I wanted to gain industry-related experience.”
Tyler is now progressing to the University of Sunderland to study Media.
