Naomi studied art and design at Sunderland College and is now Design Manager for River Island Womenswear. She described her experience here as vital for her university study, hard work and character defining.
She said:
“I decided to study at Sunderland College as it offered the course I wanted. The best thing about the course was the breadth of topics as I was able to study for an A-Level and an AS Level alongside my main course of study.
I was lucky enough to have teachers that really helped me work towards the grades I wanted and helped me secure a successful interview at my first choice university.
I achieved a great deal at Sunderland College, which was vital for me to be accepted onto my chosen degree course at my chosen university. My lecturers went out of their way to support me in achieving the very best possible outcome so I could progress to an amazing degree, and now job. I am grateful that these lecturers saw something special in me and took the time to encourage and support me.”
