Michael described his time at Sunderland College as supportive, friendly and interesting.
Michael, who plays as a Forward for Whitley Bay Football Club and for South Shield’s Football Academy, achieved an A in Biology and two Bs in Physics and Psychology at A-Level.
He said:
“I’ve had a brilliant time at Sunderland College. I’ve been given all of the support I’ve needed to achieve my A-Level grades and keep my football to a high standard. The lecturers couldn’t be more helpful and the environment is really friendly.”
Michael is now progressing to Newcastle University to study Mechanical Engineering
