Joseph described Sunderland College as motivational, understanding and helpful. While studying his Diploma at the College, he undertook a number of work placements as well as visiting a number of potential local employers such as Nissan and Komatsu. Following the completion of his course, Joseph has successfully found employment as a vehicle refinisher at Jobling Accident Repair in Sunderland.
He said:
“I chose the Accident Repair Paint course at Sunderland College as it had appealed to me during an open day. I’d always had an interest in motor vehicles so the activity of accident repair jumped out at me.
The facilities at the college are state of the art, and the staff are friendly. While I studied at the College I was assisted by staff members in finding a job.
The greatest thing about the course was the fact it helped me obtain the knowledge and skills to gain employment.”
Joe is now employed at Jobling Accident Repair Centre in Sunderland as a car paint sprayer.
