Amy said her time at Sunderland College was educational and helped her to develop and progress. She is now studying a Master’s in Physics with Astrophysics at the University of York.
She said:
“I decided to study at Sunderland College because it was my closest college and they visited my secondary school several times.
The teachers on my courses were all so passionate about what they taught, and this passion has had a lasting effect on me and my choices after college. The content of the courses was interesting to me, and genuinely helped me to decide which areas of science I enjoyed. The library was well equipped and a nice place to study.
I also completed an EPQ qualification during my time at Sunderland College and this really helped develop my writing ability.
College brought out traits that I still carry with me today, and the guidance I was given has helped me chose what was best for me after my A-Levels.”
