Turn your career into a masterpiece! Working in the art and design industry is challenging and rewarding. The best thing about this exciting and creative industry is that you get to turn your passion into a career.
In addition to creative talent, you will need a lot of self-belief, determination, commitment, excellent communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and in a team.
You'll study this subject full time at Bede Campus, you will have access to out £11 million Arts Academy, Art studio, Kiln and sewing machines.
We work with the following employers to help you gain real work skills:Tom Nancollis - Interior Designer, Sunderland Culture, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Frank Styles (artist), Washington Arts Centre.

Our Creative Arts end of year exhibition showcases the talent of our students, as well as celebrating the creativity and hard work whilst studying with us!
There will be 2,250 jobs in Art and Design in the region in 2027(NE).
Careers could include: Illustrator, Artist, Stylist, Interior Designer or Fashion Designer.
There are 260 Artists employed in our local region and they earn £26,936 a year.
What I liked best about the College was having the freedom to realise my own ideas when approaching work and being able to gain a brand new set of skills.
