Study a range of topics such as child development, safeguarding and special educational needs, as well as the role of families and support agencies. You will specialise in Early Years Education, putting everything you learn into practice with a substantial industry placement with a school or nursery, giving you invaluable experience.
To work in this sector, you need to be friendly, patient and enthusiastic and have a warm and inspiring attitude that children will respond to and feel nurtured and happy. You will need to be able to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively.
You will have access to a State-of-the-art Health Hub and simulation area for role plays and virtual babies for an exciting hands on simulated experience of caring for a baby.
This T Level has been written in conjunction with employers so is specific to this sector. We work with a number of local employers and organisations such as schools and childcare settings to help you gain essential real-world skills and experience.
